Dear Sug. He wants any data - mainly names, dates locations for decendents of Maria PP Garrard Brawner and her . If you have the documentation he'd like it. Just send him data you are sure of...not good guesses. So: the family group sheets from Maria and each of her children and each of their grandchildren. If this is too much, do what you can starting with Maria's family. Thanks, Sue If you have photos he'd like those mailed by PO. He can give you his po address. ----- Original Message ----- From: "vsfitzner" <vsfitzner@gvii.net> To: <GARRARD-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 19, 2005 4:22 PM Subject: Re: [GARRARD] Please send me Sug's email > Hi Sue, I have not gotten the request you mentioned. Dear Sandi, If she is back on the list did she get my request for data for James Welch? By the way, he was delighted that he was going to hear from you. Assume it is done. Cousins: I just got the below: Your message to leegerr@wideopenwest.com was rejected due to the user exceeding its mailbox quota Please be sure to keep your email quota down or you will bounce off any email list you are subscribed to. If anyone lives close to Lee Garrard, please pass the word about the email. Thanks, Cousin Sandi

Dear Ter, thanks for inquiry. We did see some powder on earby mountain peaks once in Jan. We are back in the rainy season now, after a week of summer. Skipped spring, though blossoms are everywhere trying to keep their heads up in the downpour. I can't help you with cyberspace problems but surely all that work can't go un used so I hope you find transferable technology soon. We have Computer Tutors here to help with problems and suggest strategies. Have you any like that? The High School or College Computer Program staff may be able to give suggestions and or lend equipment. I think Sug sent me her new Address but it on the old computer that is not hooked up .Ter
Hi Sue, Bet you have been snowed in a lot this winter in those Calif. mountains. As I have posted on here before, I am still trying to find someone that knows how to transfer my 15 years of work on the update of Anna Russell des Cognets 1898 book. I need someone that can transfer a Pentuim 1, 16 mag, window 95 program to this crappy new XP. The software out there now only works for 64 mag. transfer. I don't know if it is just us but we find this XP software so much harder to use. We can't get the screens to open up all the way anymore, (we can't get them to drag up all the way), and when you drop a screen to the bottom it get buried and hard to find. Sue until I find a way to get my files on this new computer I can't help any of you from my file of 58,000 pages on the Garrard lines. I can look at the files on the old computer but do to lack of memory I cannot cut, paste or send info anymore. I can't move my movie script of the Garrard - Baker vs. White - Howard feud to XP either. Terry Lee Garrard Sr.

Hi Terry: I think you are talking about moi, Sandi, who has been snowed in up here in the California mountains. Had more snow this morning and then rain all day. I hope some cousin on this list can help you with your puter problems. Has anyone heard from Sug Fitzner? Her email from this list keeps bouncing back to me. I hope she is okay! Best, Cousin Sandi

Hi Sue & other Cousins: At Sue's suggestion, I've contacted James Welch and he would like information on the children of Daniel Garrard~Lucinda Toulmin, down through the great grandchildren, which would be just three generations. I'm doing my Margaret Toulmin Garrard~Sidney M. Williams family line. I'm working on what I'm sending him now. I will ask him about the price of a book, should he have them for sale. Smiles, Cuz Sandi =)
Dear Garrardians, I am helping James Welch find data for his Genealogy Book on some of the Families of Clay Co. KY. If you want to make sure your family is included with your documented data, please contact him. I have used several of James' books, especially his Census books on Clay Co. for my research. You probably have, too. They are for sale at the Clay Co. Historical Society but I am pretty sure he does it for the history and hopes to cover some of his expenses. He might want some photos, too. James E. Welch jwelch@kih.net I think he has some data on each of Daniel Garrard and Lucinda Jane Toulmin's children. But certainly not all that we have been researching for these many years. Much stops with the Anna des Cognets book. I have given him my ancestor line from Eliza Ann Garrard and Gabriel Winters Price through son, Willliam Luther Price. Janet Bonebrake has contributed descendents of same Eliza and Gabriel, but through their daughter, Ann Maria Price Potter. I put him in touch with Sandi Carter for descendents of Margaret Garrard and Sidney Williams. I tried to connect with Sug Fitzer and the message was returned. If anyone has her new email, please send to me. And, please forward this to her. Any new data from any of you? I am especially hoping to find some old late 1800 newsarticles from Manchester and still searching for the Murder of Daniel Garrard Price in 1850, the disappearance of Robert F. Price into POW Camp Chase OH during the Civil War, and anything on death/burial of James T. Price. Thanks. Sue Rydberg Canavan

Dear Family and friends, As you know I have that huge updated file on the 1898 Garrard family book. My poor old 1995 computer was so old that I could not run FTM and AOL at the sametime so I have not been able to help people much on IM the last few years. I now have a new computer with that lousy XP on it that won't run older programs. It will not take my 7.0 FTM program and I don't want to spend $100 bucks on 2005 FTM till I see if my 7.0 will transfer. If any of you have 9,10 of 11 FTM you don't need anymore please contact me. Thanks your Cousin Terry P.S. If I can get this transfered ok I will be able to help you a lot more.
Dear friends and family, I cut a new deal with AOL by signing up for a year at $17.95 a month instead of the $23.95 on monthly billing we had before. IIIIIIIIIMMMMM BACKKKKKKKKKKK. LOL Terry
