Hi Cousins: Have been meaning to let y'all know we have another Garrard on our list. She is Janet Bonebrake from the family of Elizabeth Ann Garrard who married Gabriel Winter Price. WELCOME JANET! I've sure been enjoying my copy of the book compiled by James Welch and finding more new to me cousins. I'm now getting information together for the next book James is doing. He is including the Maupins of Clay County, Kentucky. Hope all are enjoying the summer. Best, Cuz Sandi Carter
Cousins: I had snail mail today from a cousin in the family of Daniel's daughter, Eliza Garrard. I was thrilled to know there is another cousin who has found me and she sent copies of my old family photos I'd never seen before. That's always a big DELIGHT! I sure hope y'all have your copy of the book in hand or have ordered one. Smiling cousins Sandi
Cousins: I just received my copy of CLAY COUNTY FAMILY ROOTS AND BEYOND, compiled by James E. Welch, Sr. I must say, I'm very impressed with the book and all the information. This book was very well planned and put together, thanks to you Garrard cousins who participated. It's great to see photos of old Garrards that I've never seen before. Please don't be the last one on your block to purchase this book from James Welch. It's a cool $34., which includes mailing. There are a lot of photos to have fun looking at, too! James E. Welch, Sr. 54 Creekstone Lane London, KY, 40741 You may email James at: jwelch@kih.net There are a limited number of copies still available so don't be left out! Love, Cousin Sandi Carter

Hi Cousins, Does anyone know much about DAR? I am starting to collect my data for membership, but I can't seem to find anyone that can answer questions for me. I have emailed my local chapter (through the DAR website), but have gotten no response. If any of you are members, or know someone I can contact, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Shelly

When I get my file put on this XP you might like to but a copy of my 105 page script of the "Clay County feud" ,to read.
I don't know jack about these moster either. If I did I wounldn't have these problems.
Sandi , Bet you mountain home is having great weather now.
Sandy, I do think you have to have at least 9.0 FTM for XP.
Sandy it you have FTM. You would need to but it. it is only those that don't have FTM.
Dear Garrard Family, I started to do a 100 + year up date of the 1898 complete lines Garrard book in the 1990's. Not the book you are asking about. I have ran into two problems, first getting my 1995 hard drive put onto this 2004 XP computer to burn the disc. Second, anyone wanting to read it will have to pay about $30 for FTM software to read it. I have been trying to find out how to paper print the book for about $50. This way it would have a cost of $80, but the big advantage would be you have it on your computer and could find what you want much faster. But until I find how to put it on this new computer I am at a stand still. Terry Lee Garrard Sr.

After being snowed in twice it's great to see all my garden plants growing like weeds and I do enjoy being out there daily. You can't beat our extremely arid weather here. Well, we do use a lot of skin lotions, that's fer sure! LOL! The only thing is, with all the snow and rain we had, we have more critters. One day there was a baby Diamondback rattlesnake between me and the steps to our front deck. Scary! But, that's life in the wilds. We have to deal with all the wildlife up here and we do enjoy seeing most of it on a daily basis. Gonna hit the hay and read! Cuz Sandi
