    3. I am researching the Coursey lines that are found in Old Edgefield Dist. in the 1790s and forward, and the families who also moved to Augusta GA. I know that my ggg-grandfather, Ewell/Uel/Newell/Earl Coursey had children who moved to Augusta. I have not proven of any of his siblings, nor have I proven his parents. However, I have some obituaries of some of the Augusta Ga. Courseys and am trying to place them in their families. Possibly desc. of the following sons of Ewell by his second wife Elizabeth Unknown: Their half brother was my gg-grandfather. COURSEY b: Abt. 1904 Can anyone identify who the husband of the following Pearl Perkins Coursey was, or put me in contact with one of the children mentioned: Or in contact with any desc. of these folks. (Aug. Chron. Obit., Thu., 26 Jan 1989) Mrs. Pearl P. Coursey Registered nurse Mrs Pearl Perkins Coursey, of 1918 Stames St., died Tuesday, Jan. 24,1999. Funeral services will be at 11 am today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Coursey, a native of Keysville, was a registered nurse and a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Coursey Marschalk, Augusta; a son, Marshall Douglas Coursey, Summerville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pearl lost a son, and from her obit above, I am assuming her husband before her death. Her son's obit includes her husbands initials. (Augusta Chron. Obit, Dec. 14, 1965 Ronald Clyde Coursey , 28 of 1604 Johns Rd. Extension died at 7:35 pm Monday at a local hosptial following an extended illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Elliott Sons. A native of Washington GA, he had lived most of his life in Augusta. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Pearl Perkins Coursey, Augusta; his father M. H. Coursey; a brother, Marshall D. Coursey, Chanute AFB, ILL; a sister, Mrs. Frederick F. Marschalk, Jr., Columbus, GA; three aunts, Miss Erma Perkins and MRs. T. E. Gentry both of Atlanta, and Mrs. W. E. Smith, Augusta; two uncles, W. P. Perkins, Augusta, and R. L. Perkins, SC.
