What about the marriage certificate for Frank and Ora? It may be that Polk county required applications that gave previous marriages, parents names, etc.... worth a try. Also, have you thought about contacting the Coroner's office in Polk County. They might have some records that would give more info. No luck in a 1900 or 1910 census search for Frank and parents?
