F, 10th GA, May 1861; pension record shows right leg injured on march from Young's Mill to Williamsburg, VA, 1861; conditioned worsened, bone enlarged and ulcerated; surrendered at Appomattox, April 1865; leg amputated as result of service injury, 1877; born in GA, Jan. 6, 1837.
