I would like to share with everyone what my evening with my ancestor would be like. He is my greatgreatgrandfather Allen King who was born in S. Carolina in 1819 and died in Richmond County in 1891, he married Lavinia Lena James they had 11 children together, they are buried together at Mt. Lebanon Church. I would ask my ancestor abt. his father and mother and their siblings as I have not found the answers to those questions yet. I would also like to find out more abt. my greatgreatgrandmother and her family. I would also love to listen to the Civil War stories that I am sure he could tell me about when he served in Dearing's Calvary, 1st Ga. Volunteers. And about one of their daughter's Sarah King who was my greatgrandmother. What she was like growing up in their home and the man she married James Timothy Hancock. If anyone can tell me more about these families and share their histories with me I would love to hear about it. Helen Hirtriter
