    1. RE: [GARICHMO] Richmond County Tax District 3 ----- late 1790's - Early 1800's
    2. Rose Lowther
    3. Does anyone know the geographic borders of Taxation District 3 in Richmond County, during the late 1790's to 1830's time frame? Researching --- Collins family near Spirit Creek, and near McBean Creek along Richmond/Burke County Line, with some relations branching into Jefferson and Columbia Counties. Collins were supposedly instrumental in the formation of the early Methodist church which has been known as Brothersville Methodist Church, and is presently known as Liberty Methodist Church in Hephzibah GA. They also had family across the Savannah River near Three Runs/Steel Creek in the Orangeburgh District of SC. Collateral families of time period include Allen, Albriton, Burch, McDade, Campbell, Youngblood, Toney, Willis, Smith, Britt, Crook, Lyons, Pumphrey, Shepherd, Lucky, Johnston, Fudge, Daniel, Kidd, Sloan, Murphy, Netherlin, Odom, Palmer, Robinson, Rhodes, Rowland, Speed, Tarver, Williams, Wright, Walker. Possible connections include Wainwright, Winwright, Ledbetter, and in Orangeburgh District SC, Collins, Odom, Brown, Smith, Dunbar, Coward, Gillett, and others. -----Original Message----- From: GAGenWeb Archives [mailto:archives@poppet.org] Sent: Sunday, January 15, 2006 1:46 PM To: GARICHMO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [GARICHMO] Ga-Richmond-Glascock Co.
