I am very interested in your Bridwell name. According to my g-grandfather's death cert., which left his father's name blank, his mother was a Narcissa Bridwell/Breadwell/Birdwell?? SS records indicate that John Wesley Smith's father might have been a John Smith. John Wesley was possibly born in [Lexington Co, SC??], January 06, 1868. He lived in Aiken Co, SC in the 1900 Census. Family moved to Augusta Ga, and John Wesley Smith worked for the RR. ANY information on the Bridwell family would be of help.
