Opened a drug store on upper Broad. Born 1847, died Jan. 1916 in Augusta. Buried in the "city" cemetary. Assume that is Magnolia. Have not been able to confirm burial of Osmond or his much younger wife Mary J. ?, born 1870 in MD. Taking it from 1900 census that they were married in 1886. With Russells added information from the Magnolia site, I was able to find Mary's obit but not Osmond's (so far). Mary was 70 when she died in 1933. I am sending you the obit to your personal email as the Augusta Chronicle has copyright and I am not allowed to post on the web. Hope it helps. Feel free to share the obit via private email to researchers of Clarke but please do not post any full transcription to a mailing list or post it online that I have transcribed as it violates copyright. Excerpts of fact are ok though. Thanks. Yvonne
