My Dad's red truck had a running board and the servers would meet you at the entrance, jump on the running board and ride to the parking place, then take your order. Wonderful memories. Going out to eat now, wish I could go to Greene's Drive In and get a "thing." In case no one remembers, a "thing" was a very thick chocolate shake. Liz
