    3. Katie, I was away from home for a while; got back Monday. The FHC film number for your certificate is: Certificates no. 17201-18425 1906 FHL Film 1323120 There are two ways you can try to get a copy (if that cert. exists): Go online to www.familysearch.org. Go to "Find a Family History Center near your home." Go to that plaace and order the microfilm for rental (about $3.50 for a three week rental). or, at the same website, follow these links: Order/download products, Family history, Family history research products, Research forms, Research logs, 31768000 Request for photocopies, census records, books, microfilm or microfiche. When you get the form, fill it out and sent it directly to the FHL in Salt Lake City (address on the form) with a check or MO for $2. They'll send you a copy from their microfilm master in a couple of weeks. Good luck, Russell On Monday, January 16, 2006, at 07:14 PM, KATIE wrote: > Hi Russell ... 1. Looking for Annie Laura and Albert Hadden from Avera, GA in 1900s
    2. Margie King
    3. I am trying to find information on Annie Laura and Albert Hadden that attended Bethel Methodist Church near Avera in the early 1900s. I saw their names listed in a church attendance membership book but can not find anyone that has access to the book or knows the family. Some time ago there was a lady living in Wrens and her brother, John Hardin, was cleaning out the house of the preacher of Bethel Church but I can not find her or any information on what happened to the church books. Any help in locating Annie or Alber or the books or the person in Wrens would be very much appreciated. Carolyn

    3. Hi Russell ... I am sorta new at this research, so I am not familiar with FHC microfilm. My great grandfather William Colby (may appear as Wm. Colby on certificate) died 6-6 -1906 or 6-5-1906 in Manhattan NY; Certificate # 18424. He was Born 1852 in Richmond County Georgia. Wife: Catherine Deery died March 21, 1893 in NYC and I believe it or not, I received her certificate and that of her aunt in the mail Saturday afternoon. Thanks again Katie Colby -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Russell K. 3. The problem is that I can not find anyone to do this research for me. I have written to Richmond County and have never gotten a response. As I said. I keep plodding aloing.
