That's what I mean. It's sure a lot easier to follow the men. I really wish we COULD connect to some Kentucky Gardners! Any of them! In the 1860 Vernon County, MO census, we have Charles Justus Gardiner and wife Esther Taylor. They both died in 1880 a few months apart. According to that census, he was born somewhere in Kentucky about 1830. I have seen census records with some of the same names that are in our family, but have never been able to find any paper connection. Some of our family names were William, Charles, Morris, Ira, Sanford, Nancy, Mary, and Paulina. One of these days, maybe. Penny
