    3. Actually, looking at the family tree again, our Gardners didn't follow that pattern, exactly, either. While the name do repeat, they don't necessarily do it in order. And..........I can't find any instance where the kids were named after the maternal line. Maybe they didn't like them that much. Penny

    3. No, our branch of the Gardner tree got pretty original after they got through with all the generations of William, James, Thomas, John, Lewis, Jeremiah and David.
