Dear Racjon: John E.Gardner was from MIchigan.I've got this information,but I'm not sure: Born 28 Mar 1882 Death Feb 1971 93301 (Bakersfield, Kern, CA) (none specified) 567-18-7278 California . He got marriage approx 1904 with Lula(Lulu) Graham.(b.1887).They had two sons: Thomas L(my grandfather) and Hugh E. I don't know if you need something else about him.Just know that they lived in Palo Alto California,maybe they moved after married.     3. My Gardner name is just as unusual. Rothall born 1899 and you are right in the observation that the time frame brought out some unusual names. Has anyone come across this name in their searches?
