All e-mail clients allow you to change the subject; if yours does not, it is broken. Kindly get a different one. If your message is not "From the list admin" then your subject line should not contain those words (even if preceded by "Re"). I need all list subscribers to know that if they see "From the list admin" anywhere in the subject line, that it is from me and they need to read it.
