    3. Hi, I'm a Gardiner which was sometimes spelled Gardner. I'm Barbara (Gardiner) Crabb, b. 1931 in Manchester, NH. My father was Winfield C. Gardiner b. 1903 in Boston, MA. His father was Winfield G. Gardiner b. 1876 in Providence, RI. His father was Henry Clay Gardiner b. in RI and his father was John A. Gardiner b. 1803 in RI. John's wife was Orilla Hopkins. He also had a son named John A. b. about 1840. Since John and Orilla were married 1842 Orilla could be his step-mother. I have another name but haven't checked it out yet.
