I've noticed the recent postings about Gardners who went to New Hampshire from VT and RI. I have Hiram Benjamin Gardner b. 1847, and wife Mary Jane Corbin, who moved with his family, from Rensselaer Co., NY to Grafton Co. NH. (Hiram was the son of Charles Frederick Gardner and Hannah K. Jones.) Hiram's son, Arthur Ellery Gardner who was born in Rens. Co., NY, married Jessie Mae Miller of Hoosick Falls, NY. They also went to NH where they and their children lived and died. Does anyone connect to these Gardners? Milli Gould

Hi Milli, My Gardner's from Vt. went to Bethleham, Grafton Co., NH. My Russell Gardner was born in 1833 in Vermont and was listed in the 1850 census for Derby, Orleans Co., Vt. with a Francis, Samuel and Susan Gardner. Russell's father and mother were George Russell and Sally (Foss) Gardner. Do not know anything of George or where he is from? Russell moved to Bethlehem sometime after 1850 and was married to a Doraxa Eaton. They had several children listed below: Female Gardner married ? Enderson Susan Gardner married ? Watson Mary Gardner married ? Walliss Frank Gardner Charles Gardner married Delia J. Flaherty Fred Gardner married Laura A. Hitchcock Hope maybe some of these names might be familiar to you??
