My records show that Anna GARDNER DUTTON's 10 children were born in Vassalboro, ME; however, when I sent for the birth record for her son, Charles Austin DUTTON, Vassalboro does not show his birth. After reading your message and reading elsewhere that many early Maine towns did not keep birth records, it look like the next place to research is Quaker meeting records. Cousin Beth
