My John Gardner had a daughter Eurydice in Bertie County NC in 1784. Eurydice Gardner married George Grimes of Rowan County NC. John Gardner was married to Elizabeth James February 9, 1780 in Bertie County NC. Supposedly John was born around 1755 in Sussex County Va. My John's will was probated in Stewart County TN in 1842.
