Manager of the McKinley Hotel in Canton, Stark County Ohio, Charles D GARDNER was 35 years old when he married for the first time there on 15 Feb 1909 to Ina Gail WINGARD b 1888. The marriage lasted under a year as Ina was again using her nee name WINGARD and living with her parents and two sisters in Canton on the 1910 census. Born ca 1873 in Decatur, Adams County, Charles was he son of Ira GARDNER and Caherine SHOWERS. Ina Gail was born in leechburg, Armstrong Co PA and was the daughter of Wall Valentine WINGARD Jr (aka John W WINGARD) and Rosa Emma HEILMAN b 1862 Armstrong Co PA. The WINGARD family removed to Kokomo, Howard Co IN ca 1920. Ina married a second time to Thomas J FARRELL. The couple resided in Chicago, Illinois.
