    1. [GARDNER] From Admin.
    2. Hello All, We have many new subscribers to the GARDNER mailing list, and it would be a good time for "Roll Call" or "Most Wanted" postings. PLEASE, do NOT put "Roll Call" or "Most Wanted" in the subject line. If everyone on our list were to post, there would be several hundred messages to look through, so PLEASE, put as much info as you can in the subject line. This will enable others to delete if the posting has no interest to them. Example: Subject: Wm. J. Gardner, 1785, Germany to NY Should there be any questions, please contact me: [email protected] Happy hunting! Milli Gould List Admin.

    3. I'm looking for more information on the family of Miles Gardner, b. 1815 in Kentucky, emigrated to Rush County, Indiana. He married Mary Rogers on 30 Oct. 1834. Children are Sarah, b. 1836; Silas, b. 1838; John, b. 1841; Nancy, b. 1843; James, b. 1845; William, b. 1848; and Allen, b. 1850. All of this information came courtesy of another researcher, so I'd be happy to receive verification of the above, along with any additional info. I'm descended from Sarah through her first marriage to John Porter. Several of the Gardner children, including Sarah, left Rush County and settled in southern Boone and northern Hendricks counties, northwest of Indianapolis. I'd be happy to share what information I have with others! Thanks! Larry Slavens Des Moines, IA
