Hello, I am new to this list. I am searching the GARDNER'S of Gardner Hill, Elk County Pennsylvania. Hoping to find out more about Alanson/Lanson Gardner born ca. 1838 in Clearfield County. Lanson married ca. 1858, in Elk County, a girl name Eliza. Would like to know her maiden name. Lanson and Eliza had three known children: Loretta born ca. 1859; Joseph born ca. 1862 and Mary Edna born 1865. Loretta and Mary Edna were in Falls, County, Texas in 1880. I know they were still in Elk County, Pennsylvania in 1870. Believe Lanson moved his family to Texas. However, family story tells his wife was left behind. Not sure if she died or not.
