I am researching Joseph Gardner, b. 1783, died 29 Jun 1859 in either TN or AR. In 29 Nov 1818 he married Elizabeth McLaren daughter of Neill McLearan and Margaret Galbreath. Joseph and Elizabeth's children were probably born in Fayette Cumberland, NC beginning about 1819. Names were Joseph, James Oliver, b. 1821 Fayette, d. 1890 probably in Arkansas; Other children of Joseph and Elizabeth were Isabella Gardner (1822/1827) William G. Gardner b. 1828; Neal M. Gardner (married to Lavinia Hardgrave in Jackson Co., AR they also died there; Sarah Elizabeth Gardner m. William Henry Haltom in 1855 in Jackson Co., AR. Another son David Gardner b. 1834 m. McDeerman; Mary Jane Gardner (1836) m. Will Hutcherson; Nathan Gardner b. 1836d. 1916, married to Leona Autrey and Addie Brinkley.
