    1. [GARDNER] George Gardner

    3. I have information on the Thomas Garder family where the source was Thomas Gardner Planter and Some of His Decendants, compiled and arranged by Frank A. Gardner, MD, 1732, Essex Institute, Salem, MA. I also have information taken from a book called The Gardner Memorial. The information in the book was taken for actual Town Records, County Court Papers, Probate Records, etc. It has a copy of Thomas' will. I assume you are research this Thomas Gardner with son George who married five times ( I show Lydia Ballou as his fourth wife). The information I have has Thomas Gardner from Dorchester England arriving in American in 1624. I also have a reference from "Passengers and Ships" that a Thomas Gardner sailed on the Zouch Phenix, with his wife (name not given) in 1624. Also sailing on the ship were George Gardner, Richard Gardner and Joseph Gardner. The earliest mention of George Gardner in the Town Records of Salem, Ma. is under the date of the 8th of the 9th month 1637 at which time he was granted ten acres of land. He became a member of the First Church in Salem in 1641 (First Church Records). The only child I show for George was with his wife Ruth Turner. This was Captain Samuel Gardner, born 1747/1648 in Salem, Ma. Samuel married Elizabeth Browne Grafton. I don't have as much on George as I do the other Gardners in this line. My children are decended from Thomas Gardner. Their line is: Thomas>Thomas>Richard>Nathaniel>Ebenezer>Ebenezer>Ebenezer> Ebenezer>Francis>Walter>Richard>Loyd>Elizabeth Gardner Elizabeth Gardner is my children's grandmother. Liz
