I just sent papers in to join Daughters of the American Revolution through Sterling Gardner's line. HIs grandfather, I believe, was Jasper GArdner. I have two sons ages 15 and 9, that would be a descendant, but don't think my husband would let them do tests at this time..... Don't taunt me like that. All they do is scrape the inside of their cheeks with a dauber and mail in the test. There is no publicity (we publish the results on our Web Wite but only with the permission of the person involved) I have always felt we come from the Jasper line but can't prove it. I was told there was never a Jasper Gardner. She never got back to me. what did you find out?
