My Gardner chain also starts in Maine. My great grandfather was born in Bangor, Maine about 1885. He was living in Hibbing, Minnesota by 1920. Bert married Marina (Marie) Lacomb about 1920 or early 1921. From 1921 to 1924 they had three children together. Rumor has it they had a few more after that too.
