    1. [GARDNER] Re: Forest Grove ... & the Oregon Coast

    3. Okay Folks, Thought maybe you could use some help with geography. I grew up in Oregon, and have lived in Washington for the last 30 years. Forest Grove is west of Portland. Cottage Grove is near Eugene. Both are nice cities; as is Coos Bay, where several of my cousins live. My parents and I have travelled through many states. ALL have a beauty all of their own. Both sets of my grandparents migrated to Oregon from Missouri. For me that was a blessing. I get heat exhaustion quite easily. I have seen most of the states, all five Great Lakes, the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Canada and Mexico. I haven't been anywhere that I didn't enjoy. Sorry this was off-topic. Happy genealogy hunting, and may your travels be fruitful. Re: [GARDNER] Seanette's Oregon Coast Forst Grove is a long way from Portland. It would take you several days to go there on foot or horseback, several hours by car at freeway speed on I5. It is just south of Eugene, mid-state, directly on I-5 westlund wrote: > Forest Grove is in Oregon near Portland.
