The surname Mooers is connected with my Gardners in Vassalboro, ME. Don't know if your Mooar could be a spelling variation of that name. I have a letter written by Lewis M. Mooers, May 21, 1929, from D.C. stating that his mother was Sarah Chadbourne, a daughter of my ancestor, Hannah Gardner and Francis Chadbourne. Hannah was born circa 1788. Sarah Chadbourne was b. 1818. Sarah had sister, Susannah H. Chadbourne b. 1827. Don't know if this helps any since I don't know your time frame, but the name was too close not to send you this info.
