I had erroneously written that the Isabella Gardner who married Allen Tate and lived in Minneapolis was the daughter of Isabella Stewart Gardner. The appended FYI catches my error. In truth, Isabella Stewart Gardner Tate was the *niece* of the earlier Isabella Stewart Gardner. She died in New York City in July of 1981 at the age of 65. Hope I've redeemed myself somewhat.
