Hi Dale and Beth, Most of what I have on the GARDNER line was in the post. I do have some penciled notes on Lewis E. Gardner, b. 25 Sep 1836 MI; died 20 Oct 1869 married to Julia Ann Brown. Eliza was born 1836 MI, possibly a twin to Lewis. (which would make sense for him to name a dau. after her) Elizabeth was born 26 Jan 1832 MI; died 1881 Sparta, MO; maried to Archibald Walker. The Walker & Gardner families seem to be tied to one another more than once. Hope this helps. I am researching Joseph Gardner, b. 1783, died 29 Jun 1859 in either TN or AR. In 29 Nov 1818 he married Elizabeth McLaren daughter of Neill McLearan and Margaret Galbreath. Joseph and Elizabeth's children were probably born in Fayette Cumberland, NC beginning about 1819. Names were Joseph, James Oliver, b. 1821 Fayette, d. 1890 probably in Arkansas; Other children of Joseph and Elizabeth were Isabella Gardner (1822/1827) William G. Gardner b. 1828; Neal M. Gardner (married to Lavinia Hardgrave in Jackson Co., AR they also died there; Sarah Elizabeth Gardner m. William Henry Haltom in 1855 in Jackson Co., AR. Another son David Gardner b. 1834 m.
