To the ladies & Gentelmen researching these areas: I need information on the following, One of the William "Elisha" Garrett's, is my graet great grandfather William "Elisha Garrett, b: April 14, 1840 in North Carolina, d: December 4, 1910 in Benton County, Arkansas. He Lived with his Parents James Garrett, b: june 28, 1814 & Susannah Mashburn, b: April 30, 1809, m: July 20, 1836 in Burke County, North Carolina. William "Elisha" & his parents were also in Georgia, (counties Union, Fannin, Towns, possibly Rabun County also. I believe that they also resided in Cherokee County North Carolina at one time. I need to see if William "Elisha married a Caroline Daniel/Daniels (Possibly Asley "Caroline"Daniels) & had a son named Benjamin Franklin Garrett b: October 19, 1870. There is number of years from Aug. 1864 until the early 1870's, that I have no Information on this William "Elisha" b: 1840. The other Elisha Garrett b: 1849 in Union County, Georgia. His parents were William Elisha Garrett b: June 1, 1817 in Burke County, North Carolina d: April 5, 1893 & Mary Mashburn b: 1822/23 In North Carolina m: September 10, 1846 in Union County, Georgia. This William "Elisha" Garrett b: 1849 could be my great great grandfather also. I don't have much on where he went or who he married. I also don't have much on Asley "Caroline" Daniel/Daniels. My great grandfather Benjamin F. Garrett (b: October 19, 1870). His death certificate listes Elisha Garrett & Caroline Daniels as his parents & both from Georgia. Both William "Elisha" Garrett & Elisha Garrett descend down from Joseph Garrett & Sarah Stroud. If I could just locate a marriage certificate for Elisha & Caroline or birth certificate of Benjamin F.
