Dear Listers, Is there anyone out there who could do a look-up for me? Jay Fountain Norton Born - October 19, 1908 Died - August 31, 1994 He resided in Macon County, NC, but died in Georgia in an institution He was married - spouse unknown to me He was cremated. I'm looking for a death record. Specifically, I'm looking for his parents name. I assume since he lived in Macon County, NC which is on the state line of Georgia and North Carolina, he would have gone just over the state line or perhaps on into Atlanta. So I need lookups in Fulton, DeKalb, Towns, Union and Rabun county as I not certain what county he died in. I was wondering if someone could look up his name in the death records and let me know what is there. I'd appreciate any help anyone could give. I'm all the way in Michigan and can't get there. I'm out of work and can't afford to send off for his death record. Thanks again for any help you can provide.
