Virginia, et al: I'm researching the Swaffords/Becks of Warwoman District, Rabun County. Specifically, my husband is descended from E.D. (Dred) SWAFFORD and Adeline BECK. Dred and Adeline's son, Martin, married Christina BOWERS producing Carter Tate SWAFFORD. Carter (or "Tiny" as he was called rather facetiously) married at least twice, the first time giving rise to Larry Scott SWAFFORD in Copperhill, Polk County, Tennessee. Larry is my husband's father. I am interested in any related families. Most specifically, I'm looking for cousins. I'm not sure what descendants remain of this family. Larry had one sibling, who is deceased (also named Carter Tate SWAFFORD, but called "Kikie"). Tiny had at least four siblings. Martin at least three, Dred at least six.
