Dawn, The name you are trying to decipher on lines 24 and 30 of page 328a, and on line 6 of page 328b of the 1850 census appears to be Marium. The wife of Semore York was Miriam Beck and the ages match other records for the couple. I have a printout of the 1850 census and can see the problem with the names. The first letter of all three names in question is not clear. However, Miriam York, widow, age 81, appears on the 1860 census of Rabun Co. And, the 19-year old daughter of John and Malinda York was enumerated as Meriam that year. The Jones family is not on the 1860 census printout that I have. Hope this helps, Marian Miller
