The monthly meeting of the Rabun County Historical Society was held this past Thursday, March 15th. I attended to discuss the possibility of putting up a web site for the Historical Society to provide information on the group. The idea was tabled until the next meeting to give everyone a chance to think it over. The Society did agree, however, to allow me to put up a page with information on how to order the books they have for sell. I hope to have that ready soon. In the meantime, if anyone is interested in buying either "Sketches of Rabun County History" or "Rabun Co., GA and Its People", please e-mail me. If anyone on the list would like to join the Society or attend the monthly meetings, please let me know and I will give you directions to the museum.
