I have been looking for the parents of Henry Smith - he is my Great Great Grandfather. Henry was born 10/13/1832 most likely in Rabun Co., Ga. He married Elizabeth Dockins. Henry and Elizabeth had the following children: 1. Calvin Cicero (my Great Grandfather) b. 9/2/1849 m. Elizabeth Amelia Justus 2. George L. b. 12/3/1852 m. Arzelia Justus 3. Amanda "Mandy" b. 5/30/1856 m. John Thrift 4. John b. 1865 5. Gus b. 1866 6. Josephine b. 1868 7. Merietta b. 6/5/1869 m. John Pinckeny Harvey 8. Genelia b. 6/5/1871 m. Dennis Smith 9. James "Jim" Henry b. 2/17/1876 m. Ella Samantha Justus 10.Sarah Melvina b. 10/12/1878 Anyway, to get to the Stephen Smith b. 1801 A Family Bible lists all of these individuals and also lists STEPHEN SMITH b. August 31, 1801 then lists MARY SMITH b. Feb. 15, 1801 was married April 5, 1821. This information leads me to believe that Stephen was Henry's father and Mary the mother.
