Thanks for the census information. I'm new to the list. I descend from John Dillard and his daughter Mary who married Obediah Terry Dickerson. Their daughter, Patience Marie Dickerson married William Allen. Their son John Harvey Allen married Nancy Whitaker. Their son James Arthur Allen married Margaret Conley. They were my great grandparents. They were in Fannin and Gilmer Counties. They moved to Floyd County when their daughter, Vesta (my grandmother) was 9 months old. That was in 1906.
