Now, there are three things I would like to mention. First, some records cannot be copied. The deeds, for instance, before a certain time period cannot be photocopied from the books (I know everything before about 1880-1900 cannot be photocopied). They must be hand-copied. Most likely, for the records that cannot be copied, I will abstract them. Secondly, some look up requests were fairly extensive and the copying costs could become expensive on my part (although everyone has offered to reimburse me for such expenses). So I'll decide on a case by case basis whether to make copies or gather the information needed so that the record(s) can be ordered. I know that y'all want information as soon as possible, so I'll at least transcribe the basic information and let you know how or if additional information may be obtained. Last, but not least, since so many people have requested look ups I may not have time to get through my entire list on Tuesday. So, to be fair, I'm filling the requests in the order I received them (which is not necessarily the order listed above). If I don't get to you tomorrow, don't worry. I'm planning to return to the courthouse on Thursday, depending on how well my son does at the babysitter. Rest assured that I will do my best by each of you.
