    3. I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Cook, who was born 25 Feb 1826 in Hayesville, Clay County, North Carolina (location was told to me, no proof). He died 14 Feb 1881. He and his wife, Rebecca E. (Hogan was her maiden name) are both buried in Mt Zion Cemetery in Rabun County, GA. I have no information regarding his parents. (The cemetery is located off Hwy 197 N on Laurel Lodge Road, just outside of Clayton) Rebecca, born 22 Mar 1827 and died 20 Feb 1885, was the daughter of Nathaniel and Isabell (?) Hogan, also from Clay County, NC. Their children were Thomas John, Nancy Elizabeth, Alfred Benton, Sarah, Maragaret, Viny Independence, Zevalor Wilkerson (my grandfather) and Dora. If anyone has any information or a connection I would appreciate hearing from you. Michael Cook Matthews, North Carolina 28105 mcook15@carolina.rr.com
