I am researching a Mary Lee Hayes born in Alabama or Georgia in 1833. She married Andrew Jackson Bowen on June 23, 1853 in Carroll County, Georgia. Her and Andrew lived in Clay County, Alabama and Polk County, Georgia. Andrew and Mary had fifteen children, two died at childbirth. Andrew died April 10, 1877 in Lineville-Clay County, Alabama. Mary lived unto November 1, 1909 and she later died in Polk County, Georgia. Mary was buried in the Lime Branch Cemetery just outside of Cedartown, Georgia in Polk County. Anyone having any information on her please let me know. Also her mothers name was Theresa Hays and she did live with Andrew and Mary for a short time. Thank you, Cory Bowen.
