All Subscriber, I talk with Don Mills who represents the company that is publishing the Floyd County Heritage Book I and several of the GAPOLK-L subscribers have persuade him to publish a Polk County Heritage Book. He plans to have the first meeting in late summer. Currently Walsworth Publishing is publishing a county heritage book for every county in Alabama. They are publishing heritage books or have already published heritage books for many counties in Georgia. Some of the Georgia counties are Cherokee, Gordon, Pickens, Morgan, Union, Whitfield, Lumpkin, and Gilmer. The books can be found in many libraries. Each person will be able to publish and article and a picture of their ancestor in the Polk County Heritage Book for free.
