DINGLER FAMILY NEWSLETTER 1998 NINETEENTH DINGLER REUNION DAYS INN, 2606 WHITESVILLE '.ROAD - I-85 S LA GRANGE, GA.30240, ph. 706-882-8881 JULY 16, 17, 18, 1998 We have blocked off 25 Rooms for July 16th, 15 Rooms for July 17, and 5 Rooms for July 18, 1998. That means 45 rooms in all. We had that much in Little Rock and felt we could do as well in Georgia. Get your Reservations in early, as you can always cancel easier than not be able to get a room, by July 10th ay the latest. The Room Rates will be $47.00 plus 11% tax = $52.17 each, Double, Kingsize, or Single. When you make your Reservations be sure to state its for DINGLER REUNION 1998. Saturday Night Banquet, July 18, 1998 @ 6:30 P.M. with meal beginning @ 7:00. Those not attending the meal may come @ 7:30 P.M. where chairs will be set up for you, around the room. The cost per person is $12.50 as this will cover cost of the meal, tax, gratuity, and a $75.00 fee for use of the banquet room. We have not had to do the later before but for a confirmed # of 60 or more and others coming in to the room later, this will be charged. Please come and eat as we will need to have at least 60 or [email protected] for that Number. We tried all sorts of negotiations but that is the best we could do. I will need to know by July 16, the number of the people we will have to eat at the Banquet. Carolyn Woodyard is the motel representative who is assisting on this so if you need to contact anyone at Motel then she will be the one. We wanted to be in LaGrange, GA. this year so we could have a tour on Friday to visit NANCY PASCHALL DINGLER's grave site, where the monument will be placed. On the Stone should be NANCY PASCHALL wife of JOHANNES DINGLER b. August 15,1766 d. December 1837 We cleared this through the Historical Society of Franklin, GA. and those interested in Old Whatley Cemetery, near Glenn, GA. so the stone may be placed there. Monuments are provided for Rev. War Veterans but not to their widows. To get to the Motel coming fron west on I-20 take Exit 3 in Georgia then take Hwy 27 S to LaGrange or from other directions take I 85 and take La Grange Exit.
