Dear Scott, I have recently learned that Springer Gibson and his wife, Dolletha Ellington, had a daughter named Frances who married William Power Wood. Both of these families were in Harris County but seemed to have ended-up in Polk County. I know some of the history of the Wood Family but very little about the Gibsons. I see alot of Gibsons mentioned in the history of Polk County and would like to find out more. William Power Wood was my great, great grandfather. Thank You, Karen Ellen Wood
