My grandparents--Benjamin N McEachern (b. 1869, AL) and Martha Evelyn Morris, (b. 1867, GA) lived in Cedartown from about 1888 thru abt 1900. Their children, born in Cedartown, were: James Thomas, b. 1 Sep 1888; Archie Duncan, b. 13 Jul 1890; John William, b. 13 Sep 1892; Emmie S., b. 8 Feb 1894; Robert Cornelius, b. 1 Jan 1896; General (Mac), b. 1897; and Bessie M., b. 1 May 1898. My mother Anna DeLola, was born 16 June 1902, in Paris, Lamar Co., TX. This family McEachern was next seen in the 1910 Census for Marchall County, OK, and many of this line finally settled in Ontario, CA, by about 1925. I've not found any evidence of their having lived in Cedartown, Polk Co., GA, other that marriage/birth records of Lamar County, TX, and which expressed the births as occuring in Cedartown.
