I do believe that this is my Brookshire line. There is only one catch.. Levi M. married Sarah A. Casey. In the 1900 Census for Georgia - Floyd county it showes Sarah alone with children.. According to Carl Brookshire, Levi M. Brookshire married Sarah A. Casey in 1888. Carl had thought that Levi M. had died.. Now that I have found Levi M. married to Eliza (my GGrandmother) there is a possibility that maybe they divorced.. I hope that this is the case.. if not, we have 1 to many Levi M.'s to account for.. In the 1900 Census for Georgia - Polk - All Townships - ED # 87 you will find Levi M. Brookshire - Head - W - M - April 1864 - 35 Eliza - Wife - W - F - Sept 1879 - 30 Jessie - Son - W - M - May 1899 - 1 Chastain Lee - Border - W - M - ?? 1883 - 17 Two doors down, Edmund Brookshire - Head - W - M - Apr 1875 - 25 Martha A.- Wife - W - F - Aug 1881 - 18 Lassie L. - Daughter - W - F - Jun 1898 - 1 Levi M. Brookshire is my GGrandfather. Looking at the 1880 Census for Georgia - Cherokee, I find Levi Brookshire - W - M - 50 Louisa - W - F - 40 - Wife - William John Webb Levi Lucinda Collin Josephine James Henry Edmund Wesley Ida Columbus Any help you could provide would be apreciated..
