The Van Wert Cemetery Celebration will be tomorrow, Saturday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to drop by during those hours to see what all has been done to preserve this Historic Cemetery and what still needs to be done. Members of the Polk County Cemetery Preservation Committee will be on hand to pass out information on preserving cemeteries. Show photos of the different stages of the preservation work and gather information about other "forgotten" cemeteries in Polk County. Hope to see you at the event.
