I am looking for info on my Great Great Grandparents who lived and possibly died in Cedartown, Ga. Samuel Green was married to a woman named Matilda. They had 6 children one of whom was my Great Grandfather, George Calvin Green. These children were born 1834 through 1851. My Great Grandfather was born in 1845 My Grandfather Luther Thomas Green was born 10/20/1882 in Cedartown,Ga. It is my understanding this old town is now under a lake?? However there is now a Cedartown. Was the town relocated or is my info incorrect? If you have any info or could direct me to the proper source I would appreciate it. Bill Green [email protected]
