    3. Dear List Members, I've just subscribed to this list and was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm researching the family of my mother's paternal grandmother, Rebecca (Becky) NIBLET(T), who was born in 1873 in Polk County. Her father was William Niblet (1847-1888), who apparently moved his family to Tecumseh, AL, in neighboring Cherokee County, AL, in the 1870's or 1880's. William's Father was a Richard Niblet, who was born around 1805 and who appears with his wife and children on the 1850 Federal Census for Paulding County. As I mentioned, Becky's father William Niblet moved his family to Cherokee County, AL, to the town of Tecumseh, just west of the state line and the village of Etna, GA. My question: Does anyone on the list know anything about the origins of this Niblet(t) family? I can't seem to find much at all on them, not even a reference in a marriage book. I'd love to hear from anyone who knows anything about this family or knows anyone who has researched it. Many thanks! for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, --Mark in Mobile, AL
