Is there someone in the Polk Co. Ga. area who can do an 1850 census lookup for me? I am looking for a McLain, wife Mary with son Thomas J. age 3 yrs. I have placed them in Al. in 1870. They supposedly had a farm in Polk Co. Ga. so I thought maybe I could find them there. I don't have the name for Mr. McLain so it makes it very hard to find them. Any help would be appreciated.
