    3. Hello Virginia - Indeed, I did have Mr. Lester who wrote the history of the Philpot and York families get in touch with me! Just as soon as he gets back from a hunting trip, he will send me more! I have an entire history of the Philpot family who mostly were in Haralson County (where I eloped to with my late husband). Are you interested in any of that? Also have a photo of an older John W. Stark, Whitfield County, Civil War soldier, and photos of York's from Polk, and so much more! Know more what I have since cleaning out my file cabinet and moving to a new one - I still need a 2nd. But I have not even touched the envelopes I sorted my grandmother's papers into, and there are a lot of unknown photos of York's in there too. 3. Are you related to the Yorks. My niece married Jeff York (Cedartown, GA). His son Jeffery, Josh and Jonathan would love to have copies ot the photo's. If you would like to send them copies their address is Jeffery York, 629 Hillside Drive, Cedartown, GA 30125. 3. Hello Edna - I know you think I forgot you but.... All I have to do is print all this 'stuff' and it will be on the way - I have been helping other York cousins with various projects and am now ready to tackle Jeff's family - to include reams about the Wozencrafts! Harvey never bothered to return three calls, so I went out and found someone who knows about all there is to know about York families, and he sent me the link between our family and Sgt. York and added several more generations. What genealogy software are you using? Do you know how to read a gedcom? Get back in touch and let me know as soon as possible... OK?
